As a group we decided to create a Twitter and Facebook page for our production company, LEAD Productions. We agreed this was a great way to use cross media convergence and attract our audience. Our film is aimed at any gender and any age above 15 meaning there is a wide audience, so we needed a variety of different ways to advertise and distribute our film and production company. Using the internet is modern use with many people joining and regularly using websites such as Twitter and Facebook, so making pages for these sites allows our audience and fans to keep up with any film news. Furthermore by using a variety of different ways to attract an audience means the larger the audience will be and lead to small production companies making a larger profit if we are advertising and distributing through the internet. We created a Facebook page for both our production company and film so that our audience and fans can see recent news on both the film and the production company.
